The clocks have gone back, and the evenings are lighter. And that means – gardening. It’s about now that one notices the length of the grass on the lawn, and it’s harder and harder to think of excuses for not sorting it out.
So this weekend, me and the lads cut the lawn, back and front.
And then I strimmed the flower-beds. Yes, I said strimmed. Weeding is not really an option, not until I have half a chance of seeing the ground through the long grass.
